It is four years since the passing of Seagulls legend and life member Tom Searle.

To honour Tommy’s legacy the Club established the Tom Searle Scholarships and instituted the ‘Lions Long Lunch’ to raise funds for the program.

Tom, affectionately known as ‘The Lion’ was renowned for enjoying the conviviality of gathering with friends over a meal and a few “lemonades”.

In this spirit, the Lion’s Long Lunch will allow friends and Seagulls supporters from across all eras to join together in what has become a social highlight of the Seagulls calendar.As always there will be many laughs and memories shared and our list of special guests will once again provide a special dimension to the day.

This year’s male scholarship recipients, including the Andy Stubbs Scholarship, will be announced on the day with our female scholarships presented at the Leaders in League event held  earlier.
