Rugby League Returns to Seagulls Sporting Complex This Saturday!

Get ready for an action-packed Saturday at Seagulls Sporting Complex as we kick off a huge day of Rugby League!

At 1pm, our fresh-look BMD Premiership squad launches into Round 1 against none other than the 2024 Premiers, the Mackay Cutters. The new-look side features exciting debutants and rising stars, including 2025 Harvey Norman U19 talents Saskia Croyston and Kaliyah Browning, who will bring fresh energy off the interchange.

Head Coach Shaun Davison says he’s “nervous but excited” as the team begins their 2025 campaign.

Then at 3pm, the Hostplus Cup squad takes the field to face the Mackay Cutters Cup team—a rematch from Round 7 where the team narrowly went down 26-22. After a week off, the boys are recharged and ready to deliver a strong performance in front of the home crowd.
