The Cyril Connell Cup is an important competition within QRL, specifically designed for Under 17 players that serves as a stepping stone to higher competition. It serves as a pathway for talented 16 – 17-year-old rugby league players in our catchment to represent Tweed Seagulls providing the opportunity to develop & showcase their abilities and progression in a competitive environment.
The Andrew Johns Cup is the elite regional representative competition in NSW for Under-16s male players.
The Laurie Daley Cup is the elite regional representative competition in NSW for 17- & 18-year-old male players.
The Lisa Fiaola Cup is a NSWRL competition specifically designed for female players who are 16 or 17 years old.
Tweed Seagulls recognise and support the Northern Rivers Titans Programs and provide male and female players from the Northern Rivers a pathway to our Mal Meninga & Harvey Norman 19s teams.
The Tweed Seagulls support both the QLD and NSW RISE programs conducted on the Gold Coast and in the Northern Rivers. The RISE academy provides aspirational Junior Rugby League players and coaches the opportunity to learn and develop through this holistic Rugby League Program that provides specialised training and education for both the player and the coach.
