Tweed Seagulls RLFC are proud to celebrate 2025 BMD Premiership player Ruby Fifita, who made her NRLW debut for the Wests Tigers in Round 8 against the North Queensland Cowboys.

After turning heads at the 2025 NRLW Rising Talent Combine in Newcastle earlier this month, Fifita was signed by the Tigers as an injury replacement for front-rower Christian Pio.
Ruby’s rugby league journey is nothing short of remarkable. Having only taken up the game last year with the Southport Tigers in the SE Women’s Community competition, she quickly made her mark—finishing as the club’s top try-scorer. Joining the Seagulls in 2025, she went on to feature in seven BMD Premiership games, averaging an impressive 108 running metres per match.

The entire Seagulls family is thrilled to see Ruby take this next step and can’t wait to follow her continued growth and success in the NRLW.
