As part of NAIDOC Week, we proudly hosted our second annual Indigenous Program at Seagulls, celebrating culture, connection, and community.
On Friday afternoon (11th July), Indigenous players from local clubs and communities gathered at Seagulls Sporting Complex to deepen their understanding of their cultural heritage and connect with NRL legend Preston Campbell and current NRLW star Jaime Chapman.
A special thank you to Ash Moran and Mal Saunderson for delivering an insightful cultural presentation, and to Preston and Jaime for sharing their wisdom and experiences during a yarning circle with the players.
Then on Game Day Sunday, the program culminated in a high-energy 7v7 showcase match. The boys put on an impressive display of skill.
We are proud to be using Rugby League as our tool to unite young people, celebrate our Indigenous culture, and inspire positive growth among Indigenous youth and the broader community.
We look forward to expanding our involvement in 2026.
